It was a very emotional month of touring this time. It was my last month of touring before my big winter-break. The last weekends of the year went by too fast and faster than I thought there was THIS last weekend. Even though I am always very happy to enjoy some months off in the studio, I always feel like a school child having his last day at school, when I am entering the stage one last time before the break… What a crazy feeling…

But let’s start this last story of 2019 from the beginning:

We started on the 8th of November, close to my old hometown, in Ludwigshafen, Germany. We had a gig in the „Loft Club“ and I enjoyed it very much. Even though its hot AF in this club every time, its always a dash of a „homecoming-feeling“ in the air. Many friends of mine joined me and we had a very good time. We even played a B2B2B2 in the end with Ann Clue and Ginger. That was fun!

The next day we went off to play a concert in Munich. This was another gig which I was really looking forward to, because most of my family had announced to come. We had a big „Get-together“ in the hotel, enjoyed some good japanese food with many friends and my mum even sent me and my sister a photoalbum with old pictures from our youth. Best surprise ever! We had so much to laugh! The party in the „Zenithhalle“ was great and I was amazed by all the people who had decided to come! The huge amount of people coming to my concerts brings me always close to tears! Thank you!

The next weekend went on with a flight to Brussels. I played a gig at „Fuse-Club“ in Brussels and had a very good time. So many people came to the party wearing the „Boris-Brejcha“-Shirts, that puts a smile on my face every time. The vibe was great and the people danced a lot. Thank you for that!!

The next Saturday went on with another show in Germany. We went to Stuttgart by train and I was looking forward to this date for a very long time because two old friends of mine decided to come to the show. Sadly, my girlfriend had very bad backpain this evening but since everyone of our label was there, I knew she would be well treated during my playtime. The party itself was excellent. I had the impression that everyone who joined this party had a very good time and we spent amazing two hours dancing together!

The next weekend we continued with two shows in Hamburg and another one in Rotterdam. Originally, only one show in hamburg was planned, but since the tickets were sold out so quickly, we added an additional party on Thursday. That was the reason why the weekend already started on Thursday for me. (very uncommon, because mostly, I only play gigs on Fridays and Saturdays) Both parties in Hamburg worked out very well. Both crowds seemed to enjoy the show very much! That's what makes me the most happy. To see that the guests are having fun. I appreciated both nights a lot and was very happy to hear, that my new/old friend HP announced to visit this years show at „Docks“ again. Once more, we had a lot of fun and I couldn’t tell which night in Hamburg was better. Both were amazing and both were spacial their own way.

Saturday’s show in Rotterdam was a blast. It was my first time playing in this beautiful city and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am really looking forward to come back to this amazing place! Thanks everyone who danced with me!

The week went on and I celebrated my birthday/housewarming party on Tuesday the 26th of November. All of my friends joined my house-party and we had a lot of fun together! I received the best gifts from the best friends and my birthday could not have been better! BUT:

After we discovered a water damage in our new house the next day, we had to call the sanitary emergency service in the middle of the night. OMG NO! When this shock was digested, it was clear that Ginger would have to stay at home the next weekend and look after the house. With a bad conscience I had to leave for the gig Amsterdam alone the next Friday. :(

As my mind was constantly at home, I could not enjoy the party very much but I think that all visitors were happy to see me playing and giving my best, as always.

The next show of this weekend was a concert in Belgrade. All of our crew members were there and we spent a very great night all together. The venue was huuuuuge and I was really touched by how many people joined the party. Serbians definitely know how to party!!!! But my mind was still at home. Dumb situation!

After we spent the hole week trying to fix our „water-damage-desaster“ everything was finally repaired and I started the penultimate weekend before my break. We took the train and went off for one last „Boris Brejcha concert“ in Zurich. These shows are my favourite ones, because it is a completely different vibe when we all rock the night together, side by side with our best friends and label colleagues. After Deniz and Theydream played, it was my turn. The crowd was full of energy and we all enjoyed these two hours to the fullest!

After a short nap and a big breakfast, we went to Milan for a party at „amnesia“. The city of Milan impressed me very much and I kind of fell in love with the city at first sight. Charming old-school architecture and friendly people welcomed us there. The party was particularly dear to my heart because it was only the third time for me playing in Italy and the audience has always been very convincing. The club was very packed when I arrived and the people have gone crazy but they seemed to be very happy to see me again and so was I. I love playing in Italy. Thanks for making the party so special!

After we arrived back home on Sunday, I got more and more excited.

The last weekend of the year was drawing ever closer. For one last time, after a week at home, I packed my suitcase again with one laughing and one crying eye. I was looking forward to the upcoming holiday, but still, I had a queasy feeling. It is mixed feelings that determine the last two days of the performances.

After a super successful performance in Lisbon in front of a lot of people and a nice departure with excellent weather, we headed to Rome for the last stop of the year.

After the arrival, we enjoyed typical Italian pasta and after a short nap, the moment had come. I went on stage one last time and indescribable feelings overwhelmed me. On a day like this, the whole year passes by again and you remember all the ups and downs. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Rome couldn’t have been a better closing for this massive year filled with the most beautiful memories.

With a vague feeling between anticipation of my studio time and mourning that there will be no more gigs for a while, we flew home and I sat down in my studio.
